Hope Pregnancy Center Annual Gala is September 25

CANTON – August 16, 2021 – Hope Pregnancy Center will host an in-person fund-raising gala on Saturday, September 25, featuring Bro. Joseph Parker from the American Family Association (AFA).

Parker hosts the Hour of Intercession on American Family Radio Network, a ministry of the AFA. He leads the AFA’s pro-life outreach and is the producer of the Festival for Life, a pro-life multimedia program designed for local churches, created with his wife Birdie. Parker is also a pastor at Bethlehem A.M.E. Church in Winona, Mississippi, and the author of A Pastor’s Notes: God Calls the Church to Stand Boldly for Life.

The Hope gala will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at Victory Life Church at 16040 State Highway 64 east of Canton. Tickets are $35 a person and can be purchased online at www.HopeCanton.com/gala, or at Hope’s location at 885 E. State Highway 243, Canton.

Sponsorship opportunities for the gala are also available, ranging from $300 to $2,500. Sponsorships help Hope underwrite the cost of the gala so that donation proceeds can go directly to its annual operating budget. Sponsors to date include The Bob Reese Team of RE/MAX Landmark, Hall Chevrolet, Vintage71, Home Store Rent-to-Own, Law Office of Julie Stern, Dux Public Relations, 20/20 Vision Care, Tisha Henderson, Congregation Sar Shalom and Senator Bob Hall. The gala will be emceed by My Friend Fletch from KVNE radio (89.5) and Lift Worship (91.3) in Tyler and will include a sweet and savory buffet, testimonial, music, and update on Hope’s victories this year.

Hope Pregnancy Center offers free confidential services to women, including pregnancy tests, sonograms, parenting classes for moms and dads, and a post-abortion recovery program. Material resources such as diapers, formula and clothing are also available to clients.

“We are excited to have Bro. Parker as our featured speaker,” said Debbie Brinkley, Executive Director of Hope Pregnancy Center. “We know he will deliver a passionate message designed to give us the tools and encouragement to courageously stand together and fight for the preborn.”

The non-profit Hope Pregnancy Center is funded entirely through support from individuals, businesses, and churches.

The gala will also be live streamed to reach a broader audience. The live stream will start at 7 p.m. when the in-person program begins. It will be streamed on the center’s website at www.Hopecanton.com/gala and via Facebook Live.
