Hope Pregnancy Center Annual Banquet is September 28 in Wills Point
American Family Radio Host, Meeke Addison, is Keynote Speaker
CANTON – August 26, 2019 – Hope Pregnancy Center will host its annual fundraising banquet on Saturday, September 28, at the Wills Point High School cafetorium.
A major fundraiser for the center, the banquet will feature dinner, music, and a keynote speaker. It will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and dinner will be catered by Eddie Deen.
Meeke Addison, co-host of the Airing the Addisons program on American Family Radio, will speak at the banquet. Addison is a pro-family activist and nationally known speaker who highlights ways that parents can be more effective for their families and how healthy families benefit society.
Individual tickets are available for $35 or a table of six can be purchased for $230.
Volunteer-based Hope Pregnancy Center offers free confidential services to women, including pregnancy tests, sonograms, referrals, informational resources, and parenting classes.
Debbie Brinkley, Executive Director of Hope Pregnancy Center, explained that “The banquet does raise money for our center, but more importantly it helps us get our story out there, to tell people what is happening in the center and how we are positively changing lives – providing support when women need it most. We’re saving babies, and we’re also saving moms and families from the negative effects of abortion.”
Hope Pregnancy Center is a non-profit and accepts no government funds. It is funded entirely through support from individuals, businesses, and churches. In 2018, the center ministered to 29 mothers who were considering abortions, delivering their babies instead, and volunteers taught 981 individual classes on effective parenting.
