Why Public Relations

While PR programs for companies that have never really marketed themselves are far different from those for established companies with well known names, they have a common goal. That is the establishment of a widespread positive image.

That is where Dux begins, by establishing the positives that a client offers to the marketplace and the community. We then establish overall communications strategies and determine the tactics needed to make those strategies succeed. Our goal is to make the client company both highly visible and highly regarded.

Our programs emphasize frequent, positive contact with the news media; crisp, well-presented company materials; contacts and relationship building with industry analysts; an effective company website; and addressing the right audiences. Dux brings professionalism and creativity to all of these activities and more.

As a client, you should expect your agency to lead you and drive your program. You should never have to prod your agency to take action. At Dux, our ideal relationship is for us to work so closely with our clients that we function as an internal public relations department that happens to work offsite.

It’s important to remember that the best public relations program is an ongoing process. Some immediate results should be expected, but it’s more like the planting seeds: some may sprout right away, but others take time to germinate. Public relations success typically builds and multiplies over time, which is why an ongoing program is the best approach.
