Who We Are
At Dux Public Relations, our specialty is small to mid-sized businesses. Sure, we work with a few big companies, but we love the smaller clients. Especially in technology and financial services. We give them the same level of public relations experience and expertise that is typically available only to larger organizations.
That was why Kristine Tanzillo founded Dux in 2001, to provide public relations and communications services with a personal touch. She had worked for big PR agencies and saw how they passed over good companies just because those companies couldn’t afford big retainers. She designed Dux to level the playing field for smaller clients.
We put our half century of public relations and communications experience to work through a full range of services, starting with shaping our clients’ images and messages, and then working with them to build market visibility and a positive brand.
Kristine, President and Founder, has 30 plus years of corporate and agency PR experience. She began her career with an agency, leading account teams for high-profile clients such as 3M and Motorola, as well as innovative startups. She moved on to lead marketing and corporate communications at Siemens Information and Communications Mobile, launching creative national campaigns for the company’s wireless and cordless telephone products.
She decided in 2001 to follow her dream of running her own agency, and that was the start for Dux (Latin for “leader”) Public Relations.
Kevin Tanzillo is Vice President at Dux, and has spent 40 years in public relations. Before that he was a daily newspaper editor and then a technology magazine editor. He was corporate public relations manager at Fujitsu Network Communications before joining Dux.
Kevin’s strength is in technology, and his journalism background is invaluable in making sure that everything Dux writes for clients is clear and compelling.
