Texas Trust Wins Three Diamond Awards
ARLINGTON, Texas – March 14, 2022 – The Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing & Business Development Council awarded three Diamond awards to Texas Trust Credit Union.
The annual Diamond Awards recognize the creative excellence and outstanding results of credit union marketing campaigns.
Texas Trust’s Vought Record Shop earned a Diamond award in two categories: the high-profile“cut” category for the most edgy campaigns and the multifaceted category. The credit union’s Trusted Hero campaign received top honors in the ongoing event category.
Vought Records is an “Instagram ready” space within the Texas Trust Credit Union Theatre at Grand Prairie. The record shop includes a floor to ceiling wall covered in vinyl records, custom-made album covers that mimic popular covers, framed posters emulating famous concert tours, and T-shirts, all with a Texas Trust twist. It also includes a large interactive touchscreen jukebox featuring custom songs about the credit union’s products.
The credit union’s Trusted Hero campaign was recognized for honoring front-line school heroes that went above and beyond during the pandemic. Texas Trust awarded 38 Trusted Heroes with $250 each. Heroes were honored publicly for their positive contributions during local school board meetings.
“These awards showcase the innovative work our marketing team does to make a difference in our community,” said Ron Smith, Chief Growth Officer at Texas Trust Credit Union. “Their effort and energy directly corresponds to the positive results these campaigns generate. I am extremely proud of the work they do and the creative campaigns they generate.”
The Diamond awards were presented in Los Angeles during the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council Conference.
