Texas Concerned Citizens Endorses Ken Cope for Congress in the Sixth District
ARLINGTON, February 26, 2018 – Ken Cope, Republican candidate for Congress in the Sixth District, has received the endorsement of Texas Concerned Citizens, the Waxahachie-based public policy organization.
The mission of Texas Concerned Citizens is to “promote conservative ideals that will rekindle the public’s passion for constitutional rights and freedoms.” It emphasizes faith, family, and free markets in encouraging members and other Texans to actively participate in government, education, economic development, and other positive endeavors.
“Texas Concerned Citizens and I are on the same page,” Cope said. “They recognize me as a true Constitutional conservative who they can count on to faithfully represent the interests of the people of the Sixth District.”
Cope is a pro-life, Constitution-supporting Christian conservative who has promised, if elected, to limit himself to three terms. His platform includes improving our national defense, reducing the size of the federal government, eliminating the IRS, paying down the National Debt, eliminating Obamacare in favor of a market-based approach to healthcare insurance, and opposition to the Texas High-Speed Rail Bullet Train project and toll roads.
Cope has also received endorsements from Grassroots America – We the People and an A+ rating from Texans Uniting for Reform and Freedom.
Cope is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and retired aerospace executive who is seeking the Congressional seat being vacated by Joe Barton.
